Social Nexus exists to support meaningful, real-world groups—such as churches and other faith communities, book clubs, fitness communities, and accountability circles—as members build stronger connections and work toward personal and shared goals.
Social Nexus, LLC ("Social Nexus," "we," "us," or "our") operates a group of mobile applications (collectively, the "Apps"), and a website, located at www.socialnexus.group. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use one of our Apps or our website.
By using the Apps or website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Apps or website.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
When you create an account or use the Apps, you may provide us with the following information:
Account Information: Your name, a username you choose, and your email address, profile photo, calendar and camera access (with additional consent from you), push notifications, and additional profile fields.
Location Information: If you choose to provide it, your city and state. We do not collect precise location data, GPS data, or IP-based location information.
Group Information: Information about groups you create or join, including group names and membership.
Communications: messages and posts within groups, with other users, and with us.
Event Information: Information about events you create, including event name, date, time, and location.
Goal Information: Personal accountability goals you create within the Apps, including the goal category, sub-goals, and related details. Your goals are visible only to you and others you choose to share them with.

Provide, operate, and maintain the Apps and website;
Create and manage your account;
Enable you to create and join groups, create events, and set personal goals;
Communicate with you about the Apps or website, including service-related announcements and updates;
Enable users to communicate with each other;
Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the safety and security of our users; and
Comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
With Other Users
Before you join a group: Other users can see only your username.
After you join a group: Members of your group can see your profile information.
Events: Event details you create are visible to members of the group in which the event is created.
Goals: Your personal goals are not visible to other users unless you choose to share them with others.
With Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to help us operate the Apps and website. Our categories of third-party service providers are:
Cloud Infrastructure and Hosting Providers. We use third-party providers for database management, data storage, real-time application features, DNS, website hosting, and edge computing.
Authentication Providers. If you choose to sign in using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Apple or Google, respectively. We may receive your name and email address (or, in the case of Apple, a private relay email address if you choose to hide your real email) from the authentication provider to create and manage your account.
Email Service Providers. We use a third-party email delivery service to send transactional emails on our behalf, including sign-in verification emails.
App Distribution Platforms. Our app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. These platforms may collect information from you in connection with your download, purchase, or use of the app, subject to their own privacy policies.
Analytics Providers. We use third-party analytics services to collect usage data that helps us understand how our app is used and to improve its features and performance.
Development Platforms. We use third-party development tools and platforms in connection with building and maintaining the app.
These service providers may have access to your information solely to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Business Transfers
If Social Nexus is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice in the Apps and on the website of any change in ownership or uses of your information.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Apps. You may delete your account at any time through the Apps or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, unless we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

Communications
You may opt out of receiving non-essential communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Please note that you may still receive service-related communications necessary for the operation of your account.
California Residents
If you are a California resident under the age of 18, you have the right to request removal of content or information you have publicly posted on the Apps. To make such a request, please contact us at privacy@socialnexus.group.
7. Children's Privacy
You must be 18 or older to use the Apps. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at legal@socialnexus.group and we will take steps to delete their information.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Apps or website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites or services you visit.
